In their quest towards success, Employees generally find it limiting to get the right guidance about their day today delivery within the company.

They are daily faced with variety of issues related to – behavioral, situational, performance, conflicts, role clarity, industry trends, innovations / technical know-how etc.). Also, most Companies find themselves largely limited in their bandwidth and capacity to be able to provide requisite solutioning on such matters on a day today basis. Consistent Coaching and individual Guidance to the employees – across cadre on a regular basis is an extremely rare phenomenon. While the reporting hierarchies, HR Teams and other structures exist in full capacity, however, it is usually not in Employee’s comfort to reach out to these in-company channels in an open manner for fears of being judged or reprimanded.

While we witness this dearth of coaching and guidance for employees on a day-to-day basis within the company, we also understand that there is a wealth of experience and wisdom lying hugely untapped with millions of Senior Professionals who are enthusiastically willing to provide Coaching, Guidance & Expertise to fellow professionals in the Corporate world.

We conducted a detailed research-survey reaching out to more than 2,000 professionals across the globe to gauge the requirement of a platform that ‘enables’ professionals and companies towards collaborating for mutual success. This is what led us to create the EXPERT SUPPORT

My Storybook

During our Research-Survey, professionals also shared that as they go along their professional lives, they do not have any repository or record of what happened at various stages of their jobs. If they wanted to look back for learning, reflection or even just memory sake – there was no such tool available. Even more so, when they switch jobs or change location - they lose the entire repository. Simply put, even when employees / professionals write their Self Appraisal during the quarterly/bi-annual or annual Performance Management (PMS)/Appraisal Cycle, the recency effect kicks in and the work done earlier gets washed off as being distant in memory. Professionals refer to their humongous Email logs, recent files (by date) to regain memory of major work that they did in the past 3/6/12 months. In many cases, professionals do not even refer to such digital log and only rely on a paper diary that they might have maintained. There are lots of challenges with all these methods. They include, but are not limited to:

  • Hard copy diaries are difficult to maintain and even refer to
  • Its quite cumbersome and generally impractical to refer to one’s Email logs or Files to regain memory of all work done
  • Any of these methods do not capture the real essence of experience – achievements, challenges, learnings and failures through the year/quarter.
  • All of these records or references are lost as soon as appraisal cycle is over
  • All of these records totally vanish when professionals switch jobs from one company to the other as they are not supposed to carry any such official information with them.

These stated issues led us to creating our second offering – My Story Book where you can record your daily work stories, make short summary of what you did, what challenges you faced, what you learned or anything else that you want to capture. You can make weekly/monthly, quarterly/periodic summaries at any point in time. You can create summaries of earlier work experience as well. With The-Enablers platform, you have the opportunity to keep your own stories intact forever. Your Story will never be lost anymore, even after you change jobs/companies/roles.
